Engineered wood doors (EWD) offer the aesthetic appeal of a traditional wooden door with the added advantages of being environmentally friendly and low-maintenance.
EWDs use multiple layers of timber and veneer/laminate to form a composite material panel that offers durability and sturdiness without sacrificing aesthetics. The material is non-porous and does not require frequent sanding, waxing or repainting to retain its looks. They are lighter than solid wood doors and are less likely to shrink, swell or warp, making them an excellent choice for both interior and exterior doors.

Engineered wood doors or EWDS are more stable than traditional wooden doors. They will not warp or crack under humid conditions. Moreover, EWDs help preserve our natural resources and provide a ‘real wood’ look without the cost.
Typically, EWDs come with prefinished veneers or laminates.
No. Thanks to our laminated or veneer finishes, Fenesta’s EWDs require minimal maintenance. A simple dusting is more than enough for regular maintenance, but you can use a mild soap and water solution for deep cleaning. Just be sure to wipe it dry after wiping the soap off with a damp cloth.
