The sliders are equipped with a Rain Track, Sill and Gradient Slope to block rainwater. Rain track and gradient slope in sliding windows ensures that water coming at high speed flows out instead of coming indoors. Window sill can be fitted in casement windows ensures that rain water flows away from the face of the buildings.
Conventional solutions don’t work: The 'face drainage' mechanism in conventional UPVC windows is inadequate for heavy monsoon areas as the force of the wind pushes the rainwater indoors.
Fenesta has engineered three innovations to keep the rain out.
- Rain track: An elevated section clipped on the inside track of the window functions like a dam. It captures rainwater and drains it out.
- Sill arrangement: This special system prevents air pressure from pushing the rainwater indoors. Instead, the rainwater flows down vertically, at some distance from the outer wall.
- Gradient slope: A track at a downward slope of 5 degrees ensures accumulated rainwater flows out.
